WoW Quest Guide

Hi, good .  In World of Warcraft, your character class needs to earn gold, learn trades, obtain the best equipment, and gain experience or face the prospect of forever being a newbie. Though many methods exist in which to do all of the above, quests are the easiest way. This WoW quest guide will cover a few topics to help you get started.

It has been said that when opportunity knocks, open the door. There is no shortage of opportunity on Azeroth. Take any quest that comes your way. After all, the game is based on carrying out these tasks. Although some quests end after the completion of one task, many of them stem from the completion of a prior quest. These make up a quest chain, and there is nothing wrong with plowing on from one quest to the next. There are plenty.

When perusing a WoW quest guide, you may need information covering the initial startup of your game. When you begin, your starting point is determined by your race or class with common quests available. Non-player characters, or NPCs, are in the area and offer you these quests. Some even provide multiple tasks from which to choose.

It is advisable to complete all of the quests in one locale before moving on, due to many of them being based upon your current level. Quests in other locations may send you into other map areas and into situations beyond your abilities. It is possible that you may eventually complete these quests, but it is time that would have been better spent in one area, earning gold and experience in a more sensible manner that would have provided a smoother transition from area to area.

No WoW quest guide would be complete without mentioning the types of quests. They are:

  • Solo quests
  • Group quests
  • Dungeon quests
  • Raid quests
  • Heroic quests
  • PvP quests
  • Repeatable quests
  • Daily quests
  • Seasonal quests

Solo quests are designed for one player and are the most common. When accepting quests, the text box will suggest a number of players for a group quest. Usually, these quests can be completed with one or two players fewer than recommended.

Dungeon quests are completed within an instance, meaning there will be no outside interference. Raid quests prevent a challenge, as they are usually the most strenuous to the players at the adequate level.

Heroic quests are also difficult because they are completed in Heroic mode, meaning that the mobs and bosses have more hit points, hit harder, and have advanced skill well beyond normal mode.

PvP quests can be wearying because they are completed while flagged for PvP, which leads to being attacked while attempting to complete your task.

Repeatable quests may be completed over and over (some have caps on them) in order to build up your reputation. Daily quests are chiefly for those that are level capped to earn money. In Wrath of the Lich King, they are repeatable reputation quests as well.

Seasonal quests occur during specific seasons. Usually, they are not able to be repeated until the following year.

With the basics covered here in this WoW quest guide, you may now venture into the realms of World of Warcraft and begin your quests!  I hope you found this WoW Quest Guide helpful.
