Hi, good .  Okay, you know that World of Warcraft is all about the fighting and the questing, right? Don’t forget, though, that all of that fancy equipment you use costs money, and this WoW Gold Guide will provide some pointers on how to get that gold.

If you’re looking to make money, skinning and mining are good professions. It may sound basic, but killing and skinning mobs is a reliable money-maker. It may not be a get rich quick scheme, but there is money to be made.

Mining can lead to big cash. Copper, tin, and iron are all desirable items that will sell at the Auction House, but mithril is where the money’s at. It’s a big seller in the Engineering and Blacksmithing professions due to the amount of items they craft from the metal. Tanaris is a great place to place to mine mithril.

Iron is also a popular seller and it is fairly easy to mine. It just takes patience because it is rather time consuming.

Your bags will fill up quickly if you’re skilled in gathering professions, so think about buying a few 14 slot bags right away. They are cheap, so after selling just a couple of stacks of whatever is handy, you will be able to afford them.

Some players like to make money by selling their crafts. They may have read in a WoW Gold Guide that a crafting profession will enable them to make gold because they can sell the items they make with a secondary farming profession. Too many players fall into the trap of spending all of the gold they earn on leveling up their character’s crafting skill level.

Farming your own materials is where that secondary profession comes into play. Unfortunately, what usually happens is that your crafting skill will quickly get to the point that you will not be able to obtain the necessary materials at your current class level. Instead of waiting for their farming skill to increase to an adequate level, the player will buy materials at the Auction House. Spending money without making money is not a good formula.

What you may not want to hear coming from any WoW Gold Guide is one dreaded word… grinding. Some players don’t mind it, but most want to hurry up and buy mounts and weapons with which to slay the opposition. When grinding it out with mobs, remember; if they are easily killed, drop money, or have desirable world drops, they are worth it. Otherwise, avoid.

Too many players try to take on high-level mobs for the quick payout, but end up dying over and over, resulting in more time spent than grinding!
