WoW
Cooking Guide

Hi, good
. Players of World of Warcraft know that it’s rough out there
on the battlefields of Azeroth. Fighting takes a lot out of
you, and there’s nothing like a fine meal to get you back in
combat mode. A WoW Cooking Guide is a handy
item for those ready to learn about the healing powers of good
food.
You will receive meat from various places on
Azeroth, and by various, I mean everywhere. This meat is then
turned into food. It is probably quite
tempting to sell these morsels to vendors for cash; money makes
the world go round.

Players with non-healing classes and players who
prefer the calm, quiet method of soloing should wait before
rushing to a merchant. Selling it is often counterproductive,
because you will probably have to buy food from a vendor if you
don’t make it yourself, and making your own food is nearly
free.
Though it may not seem as important as other
professions such as Blacksmithing on the outside, Cooking can
be very beneficial in battle. All foods have an immediate
health boost when eaten. Some cooked foods, however, have a
buff known as the Well Fed effect that come in 15, 30, or 60
minute intervals. Remember, that is in addition to the boost
already received just by eating.
While reading this WoW Cooking Guide, you are
possibly wondering which classes benefit from Cooking. All
classes, from melee and tank fighters to healers, have use for
quality cuisine.
All chefs in Azeroth require three elements when
cooking: a recipe, ingredients, and heat. Recipes can be bought
from trainers. The main ingredient in cooking is the meat from
the beasts and fish found throughout the world. Heat can only
come from a Cooking Fire, never a Forge. Braziers, campfires,
fireplaces, and stoves, provide the proper Cooking Fire for
making food.
Any profession, including Cooking, requires
training. You can usually find a trainer near a fire or cooking
pot. If you have trouble locating one, the guards in the cities
are always available for directions. You will become an
Apprentice at this point and be ready to get cooking.
As mentioned in the WoW Cooking Guide above, a
brazier, fireplace, and stove are fine for cooking. Campfires
are more versatile, however, providing more options than the
other Cooking Fires, and can be fashioned anywhere. It is
therefore advisable to carry flint and tinder as well as wood
with you. You never know when you’ll need to recover from an
attack by a beastly non-player character or some blood thirsty
player who is in the mood to fight.
Fishing is not a prerequisite for Cooking, but is
an effective skill to combine with it. Recipes using the fish
you catch provide better healing and can be found anywhere.
Since meals created by Cooks are better food and
therefore possess more healing benefits, Cooking can lead to
additional income. Advertise the benefits and sell it at a
reasonable price, and other players will be sure to buy food
from you.
So get on your way into the culinary delights of
Azeroth with this WoW Cooking Guide, and have fun becoming a
chef in demand!
I hope you found this WoW Cooking Guide
helpful.
All the best
Adam
