Enchanting Guide
Hi, good
. Enchanting is
one of the higher-level primary professions in the world of
Azeroth. A World of Warcraft Enchanting Guide
will aid you in understanding the background, abilities, and
requirements behind this skill.
Enchanters will disenchant magical items received
on quests, purchased from the Auction House, or from certain
monster drops. The items obtained from disenchantment are then
crafted into something better, sometimes with the use of
reagents manufactured with the help of other profession
Masters.

If you have played World of Warcraft for even a
brief amount of time, you have certainly noticed that the
professions available to your character are based on skill
levels. The levels of Enchanting, listed from lowest to highest
level are:
-
Apprentice
-
Journeyman
-
Expert
-
Artisan
-
Master
-
Grand Master
Of course, before you can work your way up the
enchanting level ladder, you need to be shown the way. An
enchanting trainer is the person to see. As with any other
professional trainer, if you can’t seem to locate one on your
own, a guard is always helpful in pointing you in the proper
direction.
To learn enchanting, Alliance classes are trained
by Kitta Firewind and Horde classes will learn from Hgarth.
This training is fine for Expert and Artisan Enchanting, but to
become a Master you must travel to Outland. Alliance classes
need to find Johan Barnes, High Enchanter Bardolan, or Asarnan.
Horde classes will be taught by Felannia, Bardolan, or
Asarnan.
Certain items are necessary when creating
enchantments which are bought from merchants. Other required
items are rods. A copper rod is fundamental when performing
lower-level enchantments and a silver rod will be crucial as
you move to become more adept at higher-level enchantments.
As stated earlier in the World of Warcraft
Enchanting Guide, this profession depends upon the help of
other professions, in this case blacksmithing. The basic rod
you will need may be obtained from the blacksmith and then
enchanted.
If you are not too advanced in the game, you may
wonder what disenchanting is exactly. It is the process of
extracting the magical elements from Green (meaning good
quality) weapons and armor, and destroying them in the process.
Depending on the specific item and level that you disenchant,
certain loot will be left behind that you may pick up.
Armor usually yields dust. Essence is occasionally
left behind, and on very rare occasions, shard. Weapons often
leave behind essence and sometimes dust. Like armor, you will
receive a shard in rare circumstances. Blue items yield shard,
while Purple items provide Nexus and Void Crystals.
A good tip to use included in this World of
Warcraft Enchanting Guide is repeatedly enchanting the same
item when leveling up your skill. Skill leveling in the
Enchanting profession can be expensive and tedious, but if you
can find a friend who is able to provide an item to
continuously enchant, you will find the process much easier.
Bear in mind that the item may only possess one enchantment at
a time.
There is a great deal to learn when training in
the skills of enchanting, as is illustrated in this World of
Warcraft Enchanting Guide. With patience and practice, you will
master a very helpful profession before you know it.
I hope you found this World of Warcraft Enchanting
Guide helpful.
All the best
Adam
