Horde Leveling Guide

Hi, good . As you probably well
know, your enjoyment of World of Warcraft increases as your
character level increases. This is true whether you are a
member of the Horde or of the Alliance. Here you will find a
horde leveling guide that will provide some
areas and quests that suit Horde-related classes.
Before we go any further, it is worth mentioning that
things proceed slowly when beginning your game of WoW. It has
been said that anything worth doing takes time. With this in
mind, be sure to complete your starting area first. There
is no need to take off willy-nilly into strange lands and take
on creatures and opposing players that are higher in level.

Sure, you receive a greater number of points when defeating
these characters, but you will lose more often than not and
your frustration level will cloud any increase in power level.
Believe me, take it from me, take it easy and one step at a
time, beginning with your starting area.
You may have read a Horde leveling guide that mentions
grinding. This one does not. Though effective over an extended
period of time, grinding out victories over something like
harpies for levels at a time makes a mortal human want to pull
their hair out.
Levels 1-10 can be accomplished in your starting area.
Blizzard’s game designers didn’t want players to quit on them,
so they ensured that the early levels could be somewhat easily
accomplished.
Levels 10-20 can also be reached with similar strategies,
but for those who own Burning Crusade, Ghostlands is an
appealing leveling area. In Ghostlands, there is an available
quest chain that begins with The Farstrider Enclave and
finishes with The Traitor’s Destruction. This chain yields a
Rare (falling between Uncommon and Epic) quality weapon such
as:
- Dawnblade
- Farstrider’s Longbow
- Sin’dorei Warblade
- Staff of the Sun
Many a Horde leveling guide will mention the Hillsbrad
Foothills as a good area to get from Level 20-30, probably
because it is rather obvious. Tarren Mill offers some fine
quests and you will often fight in Hillsbrad Fields and
Azureload Mine due to creatures such as bears and lions. Be
careful on the PvP servers unless you like to dish out and
receive damage.
Leveling from 30-40 is partially accomplished by finishing
quests acquired from Tarren Mill in the Alterac Mountains.
Dalaran and Ruins of Alterac are two areas you will find
helpful. These quests will enable you to reach Level 35. To get
from 35-40, it might be wise to travel to Shimmering Flats in
the Thousand Needles area. It’s a good place to grind (no
further will be said) and to pick up Rocket Car Parts.
It should be noted in this Horde leveling guide that
questing in Thousand Needles will lead you to the completion of
two quests in Badlands leading you to Level 50. Badlands also
contain beneficial questing creatures including elementals that
are effective for study and reagent.
Buzzards are good for reagents and cooking, and Coyotes for
cooking and thieves. These factors make Badlands a great area
for several levels. Tanaris is an area that contains quests
appropriate for making it to Level 55.
Finally, Silithus is a relatively easy area to level from
50-60. The mobs not difficult and there are numerous quests. It
is, however PvP, so move to Burning Steppes if you’re not in a
combative mood.
Of course, there are many more areas and methods by which to
level up not covered in this Horde leveling guide, but it
should give you an idea of the path to take.
I hope you found this Horde Leveling Guide of help.
All the best
Adam
